History and background of HRSA

Description of organization

Stung Treng Town has a population of 21 thousand people and many live below the poverty line. Disadvantaged youths from the surrounding area within Stung Treng province also move into the town seeking better opportunities thus increasing the target population. There is a lack of available training and education in the north-east of Cambodia. Although there are many schools, these are not easily accessible by the poor youths and children from communities. The school now offers free teaching in the English language to 205 students and a very limited numbers of computer sessions due to a lack of resources.
